about

a manifesto for co-existence (and a very lo-fi demo cut)

lyrics

We're not all the same but we're all related
Not all in the game but we're all playin' it

You cry your heart out at little things
I try to comfort you, with little things

We're not all the same but we're all related
we're not all in the game but we're all playin' it

Your clear blue eyes, can reflect the sun
My clear blue thoughts don't hurt any one

I sigh out loud sometimes, I might wear a frown
that doesn't mean honey, I don't want you around

We're all the same but we're not all related
we're all in the game and we're all playin' it

Politicians are trying their best but it's so complicated
The next ones will still make a mess, that much is fated

Some people are looking for peace but just ain't that strong
But a soldier fighting for peace seems incredibly wrong

We're not all the same but we're all related
we're not all in the game but we're all playin' it

Two people can be so close, yet fight all the time
Love is a battelground, makes no reason or rhyme

We're all in the game, we're all related,
We're all the same, yeah, we're all playing it

We're all in the game and we're all related,
We're not all the same, but it's so complicated

Hiawatha Telephone Company Brighton, UK

A singer-songwriter sort-of-thing, named after a t-shirt and never intended as a viable commercial proposition HTC was a vehicle for some excellent songs.

2009 album 'Harry Smith was my Father' is described as "immaculate, the acme of intimacy in music" (Common Folk Meadow). A second album 'Passengers Greatest Hits' followed in 2014.

HTC now records and releases music as 'The Family Grave'.
